accounting is seen as a job where people stay un a cubicle all day doing math.
My perception is based on the stereotype rather than on actual experience. It
just seems like a repetitive job where nothing changes.

Management
accountant might be a job that could be interesting. Being able to keep control
and always know the financial situation of the company.
Why is it
so important for accountants to be ethical? Explain in detail.
Accountants
must be ethical because this depends on the financial freedom of the
organization. Not being ethical can also cause legal problems that can result
in expensive fees or even jail time.

ReplyDeleteI found it very interesting how we had the same perception towards accounting work, because although I studied that career... well, at the beginning of it, I just felt that it was not for me, since it was a lot of accounts, legal matters and numbers.
ReplyDeleteAlthough now I see that there are more fields in which you can work, I found the option you have chosen incredible, even that was my second choice.
Lastly, I had not noticed that aspect, the one you talked about going to jail for ethical mismanagement, it is very creative.

I also agree with your opinion about accounting based ono the stereotype, because you are right, they alwas have the same profile, exaclty the same!! which can be seen as something kind of nerdy and so repetitive, I still have not figured out how can accountants be so happy if they are always doing the exact same thing always, and of course I think also that most of us have had bad teachers who doesn't make us fall in love with accounting and maybe that is way most of the people hate it?
